Privacy Policy

This app teaches the Siargaonon (Surigaonon) language. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what information the app handles and why. If anything here is unclear, just email and ask.

What the app collects

• Account details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and a unique account ID. Signing in is optional — Level 1 works without an account.
• Learning progress. Your XP, which cards you've seen, quiz statistics, streaks, and trophies. This is what lets your progress follow you between devices.
• Purchase records. Which items you've unlocked (levels, ad removal), stored as simple true/false flags against your account.

What the app does not collect

• Payment details. Card and PayPal credentials are entered on PayPal's own systems and are never seen by, or sent to, this app.
• Your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera. The app never requests access to any of these.
• Anything you type into quizzes. Answers are checked on your device and are never transmitted or stored.

Services the app relies on

• Google Firebase — handles sign-in and stores your progress and unlocks.
• PayPal — processes payments. They confirm to us only that a payment succeeded, and for which item.
• Google AdSense — shows ads to users who haven't removed them. Google may use cookies to personalise ads; you can control this at Google Ad Settings.
• ElevenLabs — generates the pronunciation audio. Only the app's own fixed list of Siargaonon phrases is ever sent; no user information is included.
• Netlify — hosts the site and, like any web host, records standard server request logs.

Storage on your device

The app saves your progress locally so it works offline and loads quickly. Clearing your browser data for this site erases that local copy; if you're signed in, your progress is restored from your account next time you sign in.

Your choices

• Use it without an account. Level 1 requires no sign-in at all.
• Sign out to remove your progress and unlocks from that device.
• Delete your data. Email the address below and your account, progress, and records will be deleted.
• Ask what's stored. Email and you'll be sent a copy of what's held against your account.

Data sharing

Your information is never sold, rented, or handed to advertisers or data brokers. It is shared only with the services listed above, strictly so the app can function.

Changes & contact

If this policy changes materially, the update will be announced in the app's Updates panel and the effective date will change.
